Karol was employed in the Maury County Public School System in Columbia, Tennessee for 15 years from 1999-2014. During this tenure, she has spent a major part of her career in teaching students with disabilities in high population, high poverty areas. Karol was selected as Teacher of the Year by her co-workers in 2008 for her contributions in the teaching field. Prior to this, Karol worked for 10 years for the Maury County Family YMCA as the Director of Childcare Services managing a Preschool Program with an enrollment of 100+ children and a staff of 12 full-time teachers.

Jennifer Dermer – M.Ed., brings a mix of education and international expertise. She has 15+ years of experience in teaching English and English as a Second Language at various levels. Jennifer has taught everything from Kindergarten through the University Level as well as adults in the workplace, both in the United States (NY and CA) and in France, where she lived and worked for nine years. The combination of skills in Jennifer’s education and career (B.S.: Marketing Communications, M.Ed.) allows her as an English teacher to successfully meet her students’ needs, whether for business, tourism, academic, or personal reasons.

Mrs. Carey is a certified teacher and has taught elementary grades from 1 – 6, specializing in Math and Science. She has taught in both public and charter schools in Connecticut and New York City. She received her Master’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and is now pursuing a Law degree.

Ms. Christophe is an 8th grade language arts and special education teacher in Hillsdale, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Education from Bucknell University and her Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities from Teachers College, Columbia University. Before teaching in New Jersey, she taught high school for five years in New York City.

Mrs. Calamari is an accomplished teacher in one of the top school district in NJ. She has a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Caldwell College in Caldwell, NJ and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. She has been a middle school English teacher for over 8 year and does curriculum writing for her school.

Mrs. Villanueva is a high school language arts teacher at Bowman High School in Santa Clarita, CA. She has a single-subject teaching credential in English and a Master’s Degree in Education. Mrs. Villanueva has been teaching for 5 years and absolutely loves what she does; she enjoys creating and planning fun and creative curriculum lessons for her “at-risk” high school students.
